Syria crisis: Nato renews pledge amid Russia ‘escalation’

NATO has pledged to defend its allies in the face of Russia’s recent violations of Turkish airspace. NATO has deployed response forces to the area to speed up any possible response time to further violations. The numbers and locations of these forces were not disclosed.
