Syria rebels seize regime town on Hama-Aleppo road
November 5, 2015
Jund al Aqsa and other rebel elements stormed and took the town of Morek Thursday morning. The strategic town, in northern Hama, has been held by SARG since the beginning of October. Opposition media claims that they took 10 regime tanks, and that both sides suffered causalities. Holding the town allows the opposition to control the primary highway, the M5, that runs between Hama and Aleppo.
